About the Carlow to Cork Tractor Run
The Carlow to Cork tractor club was set up in 2005 to help preserve vintage tractors while raising funds for CMRF (Crumlin hospital). Safety was a priority on all runs since that date and our annual run is from Carlow to Halfway Ballinhassig Co Cork. In 2018 we donated €24,500 to the hospital bringing the total donated to over €308,000
During the 14 years we have completed several runs during the year to include every county in Ireland and in 2016 we completed the “Follow me Back to Carlow” tractor run. We had 2 tractors in every county in Ireland and all drove towards Carlow at the same time.
We have huge plans for 2019 when we will Raffle a MF135 Multi power tractor, (The Massive Massey tractor raffle). We will drive from Carlow to North Germany, to Ireland and then onto Cork. This will be the Great European tractor run.
