About the Carlow to Cork Tractor Run
The Carlow to Cork tractor club was set up in 2005 to help preserve vintage tractors while raising funds for CMRF (Crumlin hospital). Safety was a priority on all runs since that date and our annual run is from Carlow to Halfway Ballinhassig Co Cork. In 2019 we donated €111,135 to the hospital bringing our 15 year total to over €419,135
During the 15 years we have completed several runs during each year to include every county in Ireland and in 2016 we completed the “Follow me Back to Carlow” tractor run. We had 2 tractors in every county in Ireland and all drove towards Carlow at the same time.
In 2019 we raffled a MF135 tractor and travelled from Carlow in North Germany to Carlow Ireland and onto Cork, (over 1800km)
